Filter incoming status updates

Neatweet was born of a strong desire to reduce the amount of background noise that is common on Twitter by making it easy to filter the tweets of others in your favourite twitter client.

You are no longer stuck with the choice of unfollowing otherwise good friends who might spend a little to much time playing Foursquare, you can now just ignore their Foursquare posts.

Use Neatweet to:

Basic auth support

Twitter is upgrading to oauth/xauth, which is going to break a lot of applicatons. If your favourite Twitter client is old and unmaintained you can use Neatweet to continue using Twitter as you always have.

How it works

1. Sign in here - create a password if prompted (Why?)
2. Create a set of filters
3. Configure your chosen client to use twitter.neatweet.net (want ssl?)
4. Add the filter name to your username in your client (More Information)
5. Change the password in your client to match the password you entered here
6. Sit back and enjoy
